Digital Head-End for IP-TV and CATV networks

Ixanon offers digital head-end equipment for IP-TV and CATV networks. IxStream is the perfect choice for operators wanting to implement an IP-TV Head-End or to digitalize an existing cable network.

The IxStream Head-End receives media on its input interfaces and transmits it as multicasted SPTS streams on the IP network or as a MPTS mux on the CATV network. The output streams can be displayed by standard IP set-top boxes and software media players.

The IxStream Edge-QAM enables forwarding of IP-TV streams to CATV networks. The customer uses standard DVB-T or DVB-C receivers.
